Rescue Diver
The PADI Rescue Diver course is a challenging yet rewarding course, which prepares you to handle dive emergencies and assist others in need. Through a combination of knowledge development, skill exercises, and realistic rescue scenarios, you'll learn to prevent and manage diving incidents, conduct underwater searches, provide proper assistance, and perform emergency rescue techniques.
The course emphasises teamwork, situational awareness, and problem-solving, enhancing your ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. The Emergency First Response (EFR) course teaches you how to respond to life threatening emergencies. By completing the Rescue Diver course, you'll not only become a safer and more responsible diver, but also gain a deeper understanding of diving as a whole. It's a course that empowers you to look out for the well-being of your fellow divers and contribute to a safer diving community.
The program
We start off the course with the EFR course, which takes 1 day (Please note: Only if you have successfully finished this course with a recognised organisation in the past year, you are exempt from this part).
After this, the PADI Rescue Diver course will start and will take 2 days to complete, for both course that's 2.5 days. This includes theory, pool session and open water dives to practice rescue skills.
Prerequisites

Students must have their PADI Advanced Open Water completed (or a comparable certification from another recognised dive organisation)

You must be 12 years or older (Between the ages of 12 and 14 you will receive a PADI Junior Rescue Diver certification)

Confidence in the water and good physical health

Any health conditions must be highlighted to your dive instructor prior to entering the water
Price
The price for the EFR Course is 4.500 THB. The PADI Rescue Course is 9.900 THB - for both courses combined that is a total of 14.300 THB. For any returning students we gladly offer a discount on the Rescue Course (EFR included), which comes to 13.400 THB. The combined price for these 2 courses and 2 nights Fan Room is 15.600 THB, and in combination with the Superior room or Cottage is 17.300 THB.
