PADI Aware & Conservation
Here at Buddha View Dive Centre we care a lot about our ocean and the life that it supports. Diving allows us to come face to face with the incredible marine ecosystems but we must remember our responsibility to preserve and respect these fragile environments.
The PADI Aware program emphasizes the importance of protecting our oceans and encourages divers to become ambassadors for marine conservation. By incorporating the principles of this program into our diving practices, we can make a positive impact on the health of our oceans. This includes respecting marine life and their habitats, practicing responsible dive behaviors, and promoting sustainable tourism practices. We regularly organise Dive Against Debris events to encourage our guests to actively participate in sustaining our marine conservation.

By adhering to proper diving practices such as maintaining buoyancy control, avoiding contact with marine life and corals, and being mindful of our impact on the underwater environment, we can minimize our footprint. Additionally, staying informed about local conservation initiatives, supporting eco-friendly dive operators, and participating in organized clean-up dives or coral restoration projects can contribute to the long-term sustainability of our oceans. By being conscientious divers, we can help ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy and appreciate the wonders of the underwater world.
