Open Water
The PADI Open Water course is the world's most recognised diving certification and introduces students to the world of SCUBA diving. The Open Water program takes place over the course of three days, meaning you’ll have four dives to venture alongside whale sharks, sea turtles, and a plethora of colourful fish, enhancing your understanding and appreciation of the marine environment.
Students will receive a number of videos to watch before having their first orientation in the on-site swimming pool. After some dive theory and shallow water skills, our students will be ready for their first ocean dive. Upon completion, your PADI Open Water diving license will be recognised world wide for life. As a qualified Open Water diver, you'll be able to go on fun dives, rent equipment, and even venture on your own dives (according to local law) with a dive buddy up to a total depth of 18 meters (30 feet).
The program
The PADI Open Water spans over 3 days and is the perfect course for anyone who wants to become a certified diver. Your instructor will cover theory, practical skills in the pool and take you on 4 dives. During those dives, you will practice the skills you have learned, become a confident diver and take your first steps to enjoying the magic of the underwater world.
Prerequisites

No previous diving experience is required however it does help to feel comfortable in the water before starting this course

You must be 10 years of age or older (Between the age of 10 and 14 you will receive a Junior Open Water Certification)

Students must have adequate swimming skills and be in good physical health

Any health conditions must be brought to the attention of your dive instructor prior to entering the water.
